About Sneakset

One obsession.
Pairs nobody else bothers to find.
Sneakset didn't start as a shop. It started as a search — for the running silhouettes of the 2000s and 2010s that quietly disappeared from the shelves while everyone was looking somewhere else.
Shop the selection“We never wanted a catalogue.
We wanted a selection.”
It would be easy to list a thousand references and let an algorithm sort it out. We do the opposite. Every model on this site earned its place: the shape, the colourway, the way it sits under a pair of joggers. If a pair doesn't pass that test, it doesn't go online — however well it might sell.

Archive runners, chosen one by one
The pairs we look for were engineered in the great era of the running shoe — gel units you can see through the midsole, chrome heel clips, holographic panels, colourways no brand would sign off today. Most were designed in Kobe, Boston and Zurich, made in Asia, and worn out on European roads.
They were never meant to be collector's items. That's exactly why they look like nothing else on the street now.
ASICS. Saucony. On. Mizuno. Four houses, one common thread: engineering you can see from the outside.
Four steps, no shortcuts
Source
We track down deadstock and low-run references through a small network of suppliers built up over years. No bulk buying, no blind orders.
Select
Out of everything available, only a fraction makes the cut. We choose on silhouette and colourway — not on margin.
Check
Every pair is opened and inspected before it's listed: stitching, midsole, glue lines, insole, box and size label.
Pack
Wrapped by hand, boxed, and dispatched with tracking. What leaves here is what we'd want to receive ourselves.

Opened, checked, then listed
Nothing goes online from a photo in a supplier's catalogue. Each pair is taken out of its box, turned over, and gone through: seams, midsole bonding, insole, the size stamped inside the tongue against the size on the box.
If something is off, it doesn't get listed. It's slower. It's also the reason we sleep at night.
Where we're going
-
Before
Years spent collecting, trading and hunting archive runners across Europe — long before any of it was a business.
-
The network
A small circle of suppliers built one contact at a time — the only way to reach deadstock before it vanishes.
-
2026
Sneakset opens online with a deliberately short selection, built around the models we'd been chasing ourselves.
-
Next
Wider size runs, restocks on the pairs that sell out fastest, and a first physical space in Europe.
Plans, not promises. We'll update this page as they happen. The store images on this page are design concepts — Sneakset is online only for now.

A small team, one standard
There's no call centre here. The same people who choose the pairs are the ones who pack them and answer your emails. If you write to us, someone who has actually held the shoe in their hands writes back.
Orders leave in 24 to 48 hours, wrapped and boxed by hand, with a tracking number the moment they're collected. Delivery is free, and you have 30 days to change your mind.
